Hey from Charlotte!

From the collection, 'Letters to Jo Ann.'

Hey from Charlotte!
Man I glad to be back down in the south where they call 40 degrees cold! I ask them in Maine why they bothered with the zero when it got so much colder than that, they said, “Zero defines the seasons, in the summer it’s above zero, in the winter, it ain’t.” Up in Maine I spit 0n the ground and instead of splat! I got plink, plink, dink, dink, crack, shatter. It’s the only place I’ve been where you can spit in your hand and throw a rock! At least in the south the kids have to find a damn rock before they can throw it.
It was so cold I had to put the anti-freeze in the coffee, and the engine, you just don’t dare kill it! I sneezed on the guy next to me, and they took him to the hospital for shotgun wounds.
It was so damn cold you could get a ticket for driving drunk on the lake. Not because you were on the lake, but because you were drunk. The traffic on the lake was so heavy they had traffic signs. ‘Caution, fishing village ahead,’ and you’re miles from shore.
But the people of Maine truly are concerned about your well-being. It got to be about lunch and I was going to go dig around in the trash can for some thing to eat, but Nooooo! They saved me, on the can it said, ‘For Your Good Health, Can Picking Prohibited!’ So I went to a restaurant instead. And they have little signs everywhere, ‘Please Do Not Eat the Yellow Snow!’ Am I a lucky fellow or what, I thought it was banana flavored, but Noooo! Apparently they are saving it for posterity, and here I would have eaten it up!
I had a moose come and sniff up my butt, talk about intimidating, trying to explain to a 1200 pound moose that not only are you not a female, but oddly enough, not a moose at all, and sniffing up your butt would be, well???  Unproductive.
Man, am I glad to be back in the south where no one gives a damn if you dine out of the garbage cans and if you eat the yellow snow, now that’s funny!! Where if you drive on the lake, you use something called a boat!!! And at least in the south, the deer find you intimidating!  ©

“The individual alone is accountable to God…”

“The individual alone is accountable to God…”  This is the cornerstone of the Constitution, this is the “American Ideal.”     “The individual alone is accountable to God…”  It’s a plain spoken way of saying, “You are Sovereign.”  It’s your ass… on the line…

The constitution laid out the operating rules, and governing body of just such an environment, it spells out just what the federal government can do. The American experience is not about being protected by the federal government, no… Quite the opposite. It’s more like… not having the federal government there at all. That was the wonderful thing… And no it’s not fair…But considering the foundation… It was as fair as you were ever going to get. Each man on his own. And if you rubbed the locals the wrong way… Robbing their banks, raping their women, and killing their men… They would deal with it. We were governed locally… The laws were enforced locally… Crooked or not… Locally.

Basic rules of engagement…

I can say any damn thing I want….

I can respond anyway I want to anything you say.

I can print anything I want…

I can respond anyway I want to anything you print.

I am well armed, and ready to protect what is mine… and I recognize you are as well… I can form allies and companies... and I recognize you can as well.

Ya don’t talk bad about nobody’s mother… (That's un American...)

Ya don’t sit around and piss and moan about how poor you are, and how rich I am…(That's un American). I am my kingdom, and you are yours…

Ya don’t hustle a buck on a Sunday… In recognition of the authority behind the law...  “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”.  (it's un American).

Get it… We, the people fight it out… Us… We form our communities, with whom we like, with our ideas… With no federal Government to tell us anything!!! And we keep our own records… Let the cream rise to the top…

We can’t be murdering each other… Rule…

We can’t steal from each other….Rule…

Lie at your own risk…Rule…

You can’t be fucking my wife and raping my daughters….Rule….

Don't play by the rules, watch out!

Otherwise… you’re on your own… and are of equal rank, under God.

This is the only place were man is equal… Before God…. Otherwise, men are like the snowflakes, no two alike. Some good, some bad… But no two alike. Only by the law of God, can a man be judged… For man’s law, is what man wants… Can justice be found there..?

Please read my paper on Law…

The American Ideal

Now, if you’ve been following, then you are aware Science is telling us… the Bible is correct…. The whole of it (the universe), is no more than six-thousand years old. Most likely the Chinese calendar started near the end of the flood.  (?)

So…. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” You know, this is how the bible starts out. The bible…. It’s a history of the Hebrew people… The interesting thing about this history is the presents of this God.
A consistent God, a God who’s command is absolute, and the earth obeys his will. We do not… But the earth does… This history, this 1500 year history, on its face, is not possible, without the presents of this God… Now… I know they’re dead… they’ll all dead. They been dead awhile…. But does that make what they said, what they witnessed, untrue…?

Our fore-fathers, who are also dead, believed this God, the God of the bible…indeed… is God… They believed that. Therefore what this God taught was valid, and brought into their reasoning… Their logic, their sense of justice, their idea of individual sovereignty stems from….

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” This was a root, a foundation on which to build. Something you could be sure of, something you could believe in… And through obedience of the first commandment, “I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shall have no other Gods before me), you are granted authority.

Think about this… The very fact that you know this, (on the level of belief) gives you much freedom, because now you can deal with the earth on terms. No worry of false Gods…. The earth had a beginning and will have an end…. God’s in charge, I don’t need to worry about global warming, or meteors…  I don’t need to worry about water, energy deposits, or food supplies, or clothing, God drowned all the animals, as well as the human race with the flood of Noah’s day. I have no need to worry over a darter nail. I don’t have to let the wolves eat my herd. I don’t have to let the oil and coal sit in the ground, God gave it to me… to do with as I will…

It also gives you a place to start…

To build a culture, a country, a nation… Our fore-father’s built, based on what they believed, would be a country rooted in the ten commandments.

But??? Pretty much only that….acknowledging God, who gave them to us… They didn’t agree on much pass that… But they did agree on the Ten Commandments, because obedience to these commandments, led’s to liberty, and these men believed this.

Please refer o to my paper, “What is Liberty?”

Our constitution comes out of this foundation… “The individual alone is accountable to God…”  If you are an American…. This is what you believe. This is what makes you sovereign… This is the authority you call upon…. “In God we trust.” This is the flag you fly.  So when you start yapping about your rights…  Think about who you’re yapping to…

and What you believe…

A trip down the Grand Canyon

I had a dear friend of mine call me down on some information I submitted to her. She pointed out a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.

"A little knowledge is a dangerous thing," as the Alexander Pope saying goes.  Or "A small amount of knowledge can mislead people into thinking; they are more expert than they really are."

She has learned her lessons well, and I agree with her. But she made me think… She always does…

So let me point out here… I am not a scientist. The information (via youtube-videos) I intend to convey in coming posts, most closely parallels my thoughts and ideas. Ideas I have spent a lifetime compiling. I do not always agree with everything you will see in these posted videos, because I do not own these videos, I did not create these videos, so I had no control over the content. But… They do parallel my way of thinking.

I do not ask you to believe them, I ask instead, take the time to watch them, and consider for yourself, what they are saying.

The view of the Universe, as has been taught for better than 150 years, is a circular reason.  The trouble is, they can’t seem to bring it full circle. This is where all the wild theory’s come from. They come, and they go.  They can’t seem to close the circle.

They speak of the big bang, and as it goes, it will one day all return to the state before it went bang and go bang again. A cycle, a circle..

They think it has to be this way, why? Because a God isn’t necessary, and exercises no control over it.  It is, what it is.
(and they ignore the question, “Where did ‘what it is,’ come from?”)

But if they follow the numbers, the universe had a beginning, and will one day come to an end, or burn itself out, (you burn all the gas in your car, it quits running). The trouble with this view is, it calls for a God, and a creation. If they acknowledge God, were does that leave them?

Now it seems to me, we as Christians acknowledge God, and claim to know him through his holy scriptures… Right??? Or do we?

What is propaganda? It is mis-leading information disguised as News, Education…Truth. Hitler realized if you repeat something enough it becomes the truth in the minds of those who consume it.

If any of you Christians have bought into the idea of deep time and evolution… Then your foundation has shifted from that of our country’s fore-fathers, and are we not fighting the result of that shift today? We act like there isn't really a God, and we act this way because we have bought, subconsciously…    into deep time.

Please view the following video… and take a closer look at your foundation… “In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth.”

This is the only reasonable explanation… It’s the only one that truly adds up, it’s what the facts say… And ‘They’ (The enlighten, the culture), are trying to hide it…  Why? Because they’d have to change their ways….

They have gone to a lot of trouble, did lots of research and wrote lots of papers, all? To disprove God. But in the end, all they did was uncovered his finger print.

God told us exactly how he did it. Look at the universe, and consider this God…. The bible is not only a remarkable history of early man, and then the Hebrews. It speaks to every generation. Our understanding of the universe is just now reaching the point where, yes, God told us how he did it. Not only that, he brags on it… And it’s something to brag about, look at it. So yes, all the great miracles can be explained through nature.   Nature is the right hand of God.

Did not Jesus call the wind and sea to task? So natural explanations should not tell us there is no god, instead the numbers tell us, and Jesus having called the wind and sea to task, that when the earth begins to rumble, perhaps we should take notice.

Without changing any of the facts… Lets add this (man’s numbers) up according to what the bible says, and see how closely it fits… And see if it don’t scare ya a bit….

The very bedrock of the US Constitution’s is… “In the beginning, God Created the Heavens and the Earth.” And without this foundation, it will not stand.

Consider, with the idea of evolution and deep time, am I not like a god? I am the top of the food chain; I have conquered all, and cause it to bend to my desire… I am a god…

But with Creation… There is God…. Therefore we are not. And everything we build goes to his credit… That simple… We are but humble creatures… And the more we learn about this creation, the more humble we should become. For compared to God, we ain't squat.

Okay, compared to God, we are but dust in the wind, but compared to one another, “I have just as much right to be here as you do.” And from this argument came the US Constitution.  But without this foundation, its god eat god… Rome crumbled with gods eating gods.

As we go along… Keep in mind; many of these videos are lectures, not main stream. But, listen to their credits; these people are not crack-pots. They know what they’re talking about. You have to separate the facts, from the opinion, but listen to what they have to say, look at the facts, and consider it for yourself.

This will be a little like a ‘Missouri Show Me. I’m going to show you, with physical evident, what our fore-father’s believed.

Let us start our little adventure with a trip down the Grand Canyon…

And this is an interesting fellow…

The Wall

This is the story of two Perspectives. While doing a common chore, they view it differently. Our narrator calls it a 'Wall,'  While the neighbor calls it a 'Fence.'

Consider these two words... They are very different.

The Wall
Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,
And spills the upper boulders in the sun;
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.

The work of hunters is another thing:
I have come after them and made repair
Where they have left not one stone on a stone,
But they would have the rabbit out of hiding,
To please the yelping dogs. The gaps I mean,
No one has seen them made or heard them made,
But at spring mending-time we find them there.

I let my neighbour know beyond the hill;
And on a day we meet to walk the line
And set the wall between us once again.

We keep the wall between us as we go.
To each the boulders that have fallen to each.
And some are loaves and some so nearly balls
We have to use a spell to make them balance:
"Stay where you are until our backs are turned!"
We wear our fingers rough with handling them.

Oh, just another kind of out-door game,
One on a side. It comes to little more:
There where it is we do not need the wall:
He is all pine and I am apple orchard.
My apple trees will never get across
And eat the cones under his pines, I tell him.

He only says, "Good fences make good neighbours."
Spring is the mischief in me, and I wonder
If I could put a notion in his head:
"Why do they make good neighbours? Isn't it
'"Where there are cows? But here there are no cows.

Before I built a wall I'd ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offense.

Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That wants it down." I could say "Elves" to him,
But it's not elves exactly, and I'd rather
He said it for himself. I see him there
Bringing a stone grasped firmly by the top
In each hand, like an old-stone savage armed.

He moves in darkness as it seems to me,
Not of woods only and the shade of trees.
He will not go behind his father's saying,
And he likes having thought of it so well
He says again, "Good fences make good neighbours

Chances are, I got a Ticket

From the collection (Letters to Jo Ann)

Hey from Bangor,
The weather man said it was going to be ten below zero. What the hell good is a ZERO, if we godda get ten below that! It’s so bloody cold I stopped to take a leak and had to use a cork screw to find my ahhh… then I peed a stalagmite. The state is so hard up for money, on my way back I noticed a sign said, “See natural amber formation, $1.00
Ya know when I bought this truck, they said it had 13 speeds, well I can  find ‘R’, ‘N’ and ‘L’ but I be damned if I can find one that says ‘D’. But one good thing, as an old man, they can’t tell if I’m shiftin’ gears or passin’ gas….???? And….Uhhhhhhhh….. Well???... I ain’t sayin’.
I passed a trooper pointin’ a hair dryer at me (you know all them troopers got a hair dryer these days) and then he pulled me over. “Can’t you read?? That sign back there says trucks and trailers 55 mph!” I said, “sure I saw it, I got one of each, that’s 110 mph, and I was only doin’ 85.” He said, “Boy! Where did you get your license?” I said, “The Jack Daniels’ School of Truck Drivin’, Coke was my sponsor.” He wrote me a ticket.
You know I weigh eighty thousand pounds, Eighty thousand pounds goes down hill real good, those little econo cars go pretty fast too when they all pile up on your front bumper going down a steep grade. A trooper pulled me over and said. “You know you’re shoven all them cars down this mountain.” “Just doing my part to conserve energy, sir.” He wrote me a ticket.
The trouble with those little econo cars, they’re hard to wash off your grill.
I just love to teach them how to spell ‘Peterbilt’ backwards (as it appears in their rear view mirror) right before they’re sucked up into my fan.
I got lost in a residential neighborhood and picked up a thump, thump, thump. A cop pulled me over and said, “You just ran over a little kid on a tricycle and he’s stuck in your duals!!” I said, “That’s all right. I saw him, he had on a safety helmet, and when I pick up some speed, it’ill throw him out.” He wrote me a ticket.
A lot of trucks have a sign on them that say, ‘No lot lizards’.
I got one on my truck says, ‘Lot lizards welcome, I need a new pair of boots’.
I bought a 500 watt CB for my truck, it’s got this button on the mike, when you push it a purdy little lite comes on says “on the air” and everybody can hear ya. But when you let lose of it, a bunch of crappy truck drivers start yakin’. So I got me some duck tape and I just tape that button down, now that purdy little lite stays on all the time, and I just sings my heart out going down the hyway. I know they all like it ‘cause they wave when they pass me by. Some of them use a finger, some no finger at all, but they all wave.
You know this thing got 18 tires. I can blow out 15 before I godda stop. I can scatter rubber and alligators over seven counties, (seven states if I’m up north). A trooper pulled me over and said, “You know you’ve blow’d out all your trailer tires and you’ve been plowin’ up pavement and leavin’ ruts for ten miles!! The road behind you is a mess!!” I said. “That’s okay, the road in front of me is fine.” He wrote me a ticket.
I pulled onto a scale in West Virginny, and was told to pull to the side and come in. So I did, he said, “you’re 1200 pounds over gross, do you know how much you weigh?” I said, “Now look here! I may not be no prize, but I damn shore don’t weigh no 1200 pounds!” He wrote me a ticket. So trying to lighten things up a little I said, “Show is a purdy state you got here. Satellite Dish yor state flower?” He wrote me another ticket.
I got stopped by a trooper down south, he got out and said, “Boy, don’t you know you’re in Atlanta!” I said rubbin’ my chin, “Atlanta? Atlanta? I’ve heard of Atlanta, now, now don’t tell me?? It’s a little town, let me think, in, oh yea, in east Texas, in a??? No, wait, give me a minute. In a county?? I know, I know. In a county we call, mmm Georgia.” He wrote me a ticket
I was sittin’ at a counter in a diner havin’ a bowl of chili, when a trooper came in and sat down next to me. Just about then I ripped a stinker, ‘thubleeeeeiup’ I looked at him and smile while fanning the air a bit and said, “Missed a gear, I guess”. The trooper was looking rather pale and fannin’ the air quite a bit, mumbling something about methane pollution in the 3rd degree, and wrote me a ticket.
So darlin’, if there is anywhere you want to go, or some’m you want to see, give me a call, chances are I got a ticket.     ©

Bastards & Common Sense

I want you to consider the following statement written by a teenage girl from Wales. Right off the cuff, you could consider it insulting if it weren’t true. Well… I wasn’t insulted, because it is true.

Never again will I step foot on USA soil.  To me, it would be like stepping back say some thirty years into my grandfather's Ukraine when it was under old Soviet rule.  His sad stories and harrowing experiences are now coming to life before my eyes in present day America.  The "in-your-face" lies, corruption, deceit, control, loss of individuality, fear of government, media manipulation, corruption of the public education system (turning that institution into indoctrination centers), confiscation of property and personal freedoms, denigration of religion (a higher authority), pitting  groups against groups, having as many people dependent on the largess of government, among numerous other adversities, were normal.  Seems these are the "new" normal in USA.

There is something very interesting about this statement, outside the list of failures… It’s the second sentence; To me, it would be like stepping back say some thirty years into my grandfather's Ukraine when it was under old Soviet rule.  What this sentence says to me is she has been given tradition… Her grandfather took the time to educate her on what he knew to be true. You might say she has common sense.  Common sense isn’t what people think it is; it is family tradition.

When the hippies choose to discard the idea of family and all that went with it, in favor of free love, piece (no, I did not misspell it) and rock and roll, they instead threw away Love, Peace and Harmony; Common sense.

Common sense is known under another name as well… Wisdom. With the advent of the hippies, (this to include the compassion of the welfare state), there was a decline in marriages, an increase in divorces and the countryside was littered with bastard children. The home, ‘Woman,’ was replaced with a second income, or she had to produce in order to rear her children.

In many cases the grandparents tried to hold the traditions together, but as time wore on, and poor habits repeated, and the number of bastard children increased, the factures grew and slowly the family traditions gave way to ignorance and dependence on public assistant.

Although the American free enterprise system has provided abundance, it can not provide family tradition, common sense.

The abundance as provided education, and with a lack of family tradition, has left our children prey to a whole array of strange and misguided ideas. The profusion of wealth has gone a long way to insulating the culture as a whole from the effects of these misguided ideas. But as the ignorance grows and more and more people embrace ‘modern thinking’ the impact is near at hand.

This started in the early twentieth century with the importation of European professors. The impact was small because family tradition prevailed and an ole saying came to be, “If you’re twenty and not a liberal, you have no heart, if you’re forty and not a conservative, you have no brains.” But without a firm reliance on family tradition to purge ideas which do not produce, you have nothing to work with except what you learn in school.

America has become a sea of well educated people with a lack of common sense. But it was built on a foundation of family people, with a wealth of wisdom.
